Jason Fobister lives in the First Nations Reserve of Grassy Narrows in Canada. His art is inspired by nature, humanity and love. 

"This painting is inspired by my wife Crystal as she encouraged me to finish it. It is a reflection of home, respect, honour and courage. I wanted to capture the colours of the traditional classical style of painting but with an indigenous story. I hope I was able to do it justice to capture my emotions using my art."
